Materials
35 grams of King Cole Glitz DK Yarn in Main Colour
20 grams of King Cole big value DK in Contrast Colour

OR
1.25oz of Variegated Worsted Weight #3 Yarn in Main Color
1oz of Worsted Weight Yarn in Contrast Color
6.00mm crochet hook, plain button for centre of flower motif

GAUGE - 4dc and 2 rows of dc's measures approx 1 Inch

1st Row - (Made in continuous rounds without turning to brim)
With 6.00mm hook and main color, ch4, sl st in 1st ch to form a ring, (RS) ch3, work 11dc
in ring, sl st to top ch3 on beginning of row. (11dc + ch3)

2nd Row - ch3, 1dc in base of ch3, 2dc in each dc to end, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning
of row. (23dc + ch3)

3rd Row - ch3, 1dc in base of ch3, 1dc in next dc, * 2dc in next dc, 1dc in next dc, * rpt
from * to * to end, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row. (35dc + ch3)

4th Row - ch3, 1dc in base of ch3, 1dc in each of next 2dc, * 2dc in next dc, 1dc in each
of next 2dc * rpt from * to * to end, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row. (47dc + ch3)

5th Row - ch3, 1dc in base of ch3, 1dc in each of next 3dc, * 2dc in next dc, 1dc in each
of next 3dc, * rpt from * to * to end, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row. (59dc + ch3)

6-15th Row - ch3, 1dc in each dc to end, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row, turn at the end of the 15th row.

Brim - Working in back loop of stitch only for this row work ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each dc to end, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Turn. (60sc)

Pattern Row 1 - Working through both loops of stitch from now on, ch1, sl st loosely in base of ch1, * cl (see abbrev) in next sc, ch1, sl st loosely in next sc, * rpt from * to * to last sc,
cl in last sc, ch1, sl st to first sl st on beginning of row. Turn. (30 Clusters)

Pattern Row 2 - ch1, work 1sc in each cl and sl st to end, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Turn.

Pattern Rows 1 & 2 form the pattern rpt both rows 4 more times each until 5 complete patterns have been worked in all from main part or brim measures approx 2.5 inches.

Work Pattern Row 1 once. Fasten off.

Flower Motif - (Worked in rounds without turning) using 4.50mm hook and main color, make magic circle, work ch1, 12sc in circle, pull loose thread of yarn to close, sl st to first sc.

Round 1 - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * ch2, skip 1sc, 1sc in next sc, * rpt from * to * to last sc, ch2, skip last sc, sl st to first sc. (6, ch2 spaces)

Round 2 - Work ch1, (1sc, 1dc, 3trc, 1dc, 1sc) in each ch2 space to end, sl st to first sc. Fasten off. (6 petals)

Round 3 - Working behind petals of Round 2, join in contrast color yarn with a sl st to top
of sc on Round 1, work ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * ch4, 1sc in next sc on Round 1, * rpt from
* to * 3 more times, ch4, sl st to first sc on beginning of round. (6, ch4 spaces)

Round 4 - Work ch1, (1sc, 2dc, 4trc, 2dc, 1sc) in each ch4 space to end, sl st to first sc. Fasten off.

Finishing - Sew in and tie off loose ends, sew on button to centre of flower, attach flower motif to side of beanie hat.
