Base of ch. Work into first stitch

Finished size approx:-

15” Circumference x 6” Long

Materials

60 grams of King Cole big value baby DK in apple (shade 292) Main Colour

5.00mm & 4.00mm crochet hooks

4 wooden buttons for decoration

TENSION - 5dc and 6 rows of dc's measures approx 1 Inch using a 4.00mm hook

Boot Cuff x 2

Top - With 5.00mm make 12ch, 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each to end. Turn. (11dc)

Pattern Row - Working into back loop of stitch only make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end. Turn.

Rpt last row until 57dc rows have been worked in all from beginning. Working in multiples

of 3 you can work less or more rows here if you wish for a smaller or wider calf. Slip stitch cast-on edge and last row of dc together to form a circle. Do not Fasten off.

Working through both loops into row ends around the circle, make 1ch, 1dc into base of

1ch, 1dc into each row end to end, ss to first dc. DNT. (58dc)

Decorative Edge - 1ch, * work (2dc, 2ch, 2dc) into next dc, miss 2dc, * Rpt from

* to * to end, ss to first dc. Fasten off. (19 Groups)

Bottom - With 4.00mm hook, RS facing and again working through both loops and into row ends around the circle, re-join yarn to ss seam, make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each row end to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn. (58dc)

Next Row - Make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn.

Rpt last row until 17dc rows have been worked in all or work measures approx 6 inches

from top. Fasten off.

Finishing - Sew in and tie off loose ends of yarn, attach 2 wooden buttons to side of each boot cuff.
