Abbreviations

WS. Wrong Side

RS. Right Side

dc. Double Crochet

tr. Treble Crochet

rpt. Repeat

ss. Slip Stitch

tr2tog. Leaving last loop of each tr on hook,

work 2tr into next stitch, yrh draw through 2 loops,

yrh pull through last 2 loops.

Crab Stitch. Working left to right, work dc backwards

Base of ch. Work into first stitch

Finished size approx: 1.2” wide x 8 Inches long

Materials

Small amount of Double Knitting Yarn in Main Colour

Small amount of Double Knitting Yarn in Cream yarn

5.00mm & 4.00mm Crochet Hooks

1 Medium Wooden Button

With 5.00mm hook and main colour yarn make 34ch, change to 4.00mm hook, (RS)

work 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each ch to end. Turn. Fasten off. (33dc)

Next Row - Join in cream colour yarn, make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each

of next 3dc, * tr2tog (see abbrev) into next dc, 1dc into each of next 3dc, * rpt from

* to * to last dc, 1dc into last dc. Turn. Fasten off. (7 tr2tog)

Next Row - Join in main colour yarn, make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc

and tr2tog to end. Turn. (33dc)

Next Row - 1ch, 2dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc along the top of bracelet, 3dc

into corner, 1dc into row end along first side, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each ch along the bottom of bracelet, 3dc into corner, 1dc into row end along second side, 1dc into base

of 1ch, ss to 1st dc. Turn.

Edging - 1ch, work one row of crab stitch (see abbrev) along top, down side and along bottom of bracelet. Turn. Working into dc's on second side of bracelet, make 1ch, ss

across 3dc, make 8ch, ss into same dc, ss into each of last 2dc. Fasten off.

Finishing - Sew in and tie off loose ends, sew button to opposite end of loop on bracelet.
