GAUGE - 3hdc and 3 rows measure approx 1 Inch using 5.00mm hook

(Made in rounds without turning) - Using color 1 make a magic circle, with 5.00mm hook ch2, work 12hdc in ring, pull loose thread to close circle, skip ch2, sl st to first hdc on beginning of row. (12hdc)

2nd Row - (Inc Row) ch2, 1hdc in base of ch2, 2hdc in each hdc to end, skip ch2, sl st to first hdc on beginning of row. (23hdc)

3rd Row - (Inc Row) ch2, 1hdc in base of ch2, * 2hdc in next hdc, 1hdc in next hdc, * rpt from * to * to end, skip ch2, sl st to first hdc on beginning of row. (34hdc)

4th Row - (Inc Row) ch2, 1hdc in base of ch2, 1hdc in next hdc, * 2hdc in next hdc, 1hdc in each of next 2hdc, * rpt from * to * to last 2hdc, 1hdc in each of last 2hdc, skip ch2, sl st to first hdc on beginning of row. (44hdc)

Rpt 8th Row until eight 5dc group rows have been worked. Fasten off.

Brim - Join in color 2, working in back loop of stitch only, ch3, work 3dc in base of ch3, 3dc in each dc to end, skip ch3, sl st to first dc on beginning of row. (198dc)

Next Row - ch3, 1dc in base of ch3, 1dc in each dc to end, skip ch3,
sl st to first dc. Fasten off.

Using color 2 make a small pom pom, I used Clover pom pom maker size 45

Flower - (Made in continuous rows without turning) Using colour 1 make a magic circle, with 4.00mm hook, make 1ch, work 9sc into ring, pull loose strand of yarn to close circle, sl st to first dc on beginning of row.

Row 2 - ch1, 2sc in base of ch1, 2sc in each dc to end, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Fasten off. (18sc)

Row 3 - Join in colour 2 with sl st to any sc, (ch3, 3dc, ch3, sl st) in same sc, * skip 1sc, (sl st, ch3, 3dc, ch3, sl st) in next sc, * rpt from * to * to last sc, skip last sc, sl st to sl st on beginning of row. Fasten off (9 petals)

Finishing - Weave in all loose ends of yarn, attach pom pom to centre and flower to front.
