1.75oz of Worsted Weight Yarn
4.00mm crochet hook, Decorative Button

GAUGE - 9hdc and 7 rows of hdc measures approx 2” Square

Pocket Pack Tissue Cover - With 4.00mm hook ch12, (RS) 1hdc in 3rd ch from
hook, 1hdc in each ch to end. Turn (10hdc + ch2)

Next Row - ch2, 1hdc in each hdc to end, 1hdc in top of ch2. Turn. Rpt last row 36
more times, making 38 rows in all. Turn.

Front Flap - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each hdc to end. Turn. (11sc)

Next Row - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * dc5tog in next sc, (see abbrev above) 1sc in next
sc, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn. (5, dc5tog)

Next Row - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each st to end. Turn. (11sc)

Next Row – (Buttonhole) ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each of next 4sc, ch2, skip 1sc, 1sc in each of next 5sc. Turn.

Next Row - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each sc and ch2 space to end. Turn. (11sc)

Next Row - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * dc5tog in next sc, 1sc in next sc, * rpt from
* to * to end. Turn. (5, dc5tog)

Next Row - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each st to end. Turn. (11sc)

Cover Edging and Sides - Starting with ch1, 2sc in base of ch1, work 1sc in each sc
to last sc, 3sc in last sc, working down the side of cover and in row ends work 1sc in each
of next 5 row ends, 2sc in next row end, * 1sc in next row end, 2sc in next row end,
* rpt from * to * to last row end, 1sc in last row end (62sc), 3sc in corner, working along starting ch, work 1sc in each of next 9ch to corner, 3sc in corner, working up the side of cover and in row ends, work 2sc in next row end, rpt from * to * to last 5 row ends, 1sc in each of last 5 row ends, (62sc), 1sc in base of ch1, sl st to first sc on beginning of row.
Turn. Fasten off.

Next Row - Skip 11sc, working in back loop of stitch only, rejoin yarn to next sc, ch1,
1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each of next 23sc, dec 1sc over next 2sc, (see abbrev above)
1sc in each of next 3sc, dec 1sc over next 2sc, 1sc in each of next 24sc. Turn. (53sc)

Next Row - Working through both loops from now on, ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in
each of next 23sc, dec 1sc over next 2sc, 1sc in next sc, dec 1sc over next 2sc, 1sc
in each of next 24sc. Turn. (51sc)

Next Row - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each of next 23sc, sc3tog (see abbrev above) over next 3sc, 1sc in each of next 24sc. Turn. (49sc)

Next Row - Fold cover in half length ways so that WS is facing, join sides together as follows:

ch1, using centre loops of sc, sl st both sides of each sc together to close. Fasten off.

Starting on short side on opposite corner, work second side the same as first. Fasten off.

Finishing - Sew in and tie off ends, attach button to correspond with buttonhole. Insert tissues.
