Base of ch. Work in first stitch

Materials
30 grams of Patons 100% Cotton DK in Color 1
10 grams of Patons 100% cotton DK in Color 2

OR
1.5oz of Worsted Weight #3 100% Cotton in color 1
Small amount of Worsted Weight #3 100% Cotton in color 2
4.00mm crochet hook

GAUGE - 5hdc and 3 rows measures approx 1 Inch

With color 1 ch20, 1hdc in 2nd ch from hook, 1hdc in each of next 8ch, 3hdc in next ch, 1hdc in each of next 9ch. Turn. (21hdc)

Row 2 to 3 - ch1, 1hdc in base of ch1, 1hdc in each hdc to end. Turn.

Row 4 - (Inc Row) ch1, 1hdc in base of ch1, 1hdc in each of next 9hdc, 3hdc in next hdc, 1hdc in each of next 10hdc. Turn. (23hdc)

Rpt Rows 2 to 4 working 3hdc in centre hdc on every increase row until 33dc remain and 19 rows have been worked from beginning. Fasten off.

Edging - With WS facing Join color 1 to neck edge, ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, work 20sc evenly in row ends along first side to corner, 3sc in corner, 1sc in each of next 15hdc, 3sc in next hdc, 1sc in each of next 15hdc, 3sc in corner, work 21sc evenly in row ends up second side to corner. Turn.

Next Row - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each sc around bib to end, working 3sc in centre sc's of 3sc groups (corners). Fasten off.

Next Row (Including ch ties) - Using color 2, ch50, join yarn to neck edge with a sc, work 1sc into each sc down first side of bib, 3sc in corner, 1sc in each of next 39sc along bottom of bib, 3sc in corner, 1sc in each sc up second side, ch51. Turn.

Next Row - sl st in 2nd ch from hook, sl st in each of next 49ch, continue down first side of bib working (1sc, 3dc) in next sc, * skip 2sc, (1sc, 3dc) in next sc, * rpt from * to * down first side, along the bottom and up the second side to last 3sc, skip 2sc, 1sc in last sc.

Work a sl st in each of the 49ch on first ch tie, 3sc in last ch, working on opposite side of ch, sl st in each ch to neck edge, work 23sc evenly along neck edge to second ch tie, working along opposite side of ch's, sl st in each ch to end. Fasten off.

Flower - (Made in rounds without turning). Make a magic circle with color 2, work 12sc in circle, pull loose thread to close circle, sl st to first sc.

Next Row - ch1, (sl st, ch3, sl st) in base of ch1, * skip 1sc, (sl st, ch3, sl st) in next sc, * rpt from * to * to last sc, skip last sc, sl st to sl st. Fasten off.

Finishing - Weave in all loose ends of yarn, attach flower to front of bib.
