3 x 100 grm ball of Baby DK Yarn in White
5.00mm & 4.00mm crochet hooks


TENSION/GAUGE - 3 Rows & 10st to Approximately 2”

With 5.00mm hook, make 146ch, change to 4.00mm hook, (RS) 1tr into 4th ch from hook, 1tr into each ch to end. Turn. (143tr + 3ch)

1st Row - 5ch, miss 1tr, * 1dc into next tr, 3ch, miss 2tr, 1tr into next tr, 3ch, miss 2tr * rpt from * to * to last 5tr and 3ch, make 3ch miss 2tr, 1dc into next tr, 3ch, miss 2tr, 1tr into top of 3ch. Turn.

2nd Row - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * miss 3ch, 5tr into dc, miss 3ch, 1dc into tr, * rpt from * to * to end, finishing with 1dc into 3rd of 5ch. Turn. (24, 5tr groups)

3rd Row - 5ch, * 1dc into centre tr of 5tr, 3ch, 1tr into dc, 3ch, * rpt from * to * to last 5tr group and dc, 1dc into centre tr of 5tr, 1tr into dc. Turn.

4th Row - 3ch, * 2tr into 3ch space, 1tr into dc, 2tr into 3ch space, 1tr into tr, * rpt from * to * to last tr, 3ch space, dc and 5ch, 2tr into 3ch space, 1tr into dc, 1tr into 5ch space, 1tr into 3rd of same 5ch. Turn. Fasten off.

Rpt the last 4 rows until work measures 32” or 20 complete patterns (all 4 rows) have been worked ending on a 4th row.

Blanket Edging
Re-join yarn with ss to a corner, with RS facing and working on right hand side of blanket, make 3ch, work 2tr into each row end to next corner. Fasten off. Rpt the last row on left hand side of blanket. Fasten off.

With WS facing and starting at top of blanket were you worked the last row of pattern, rejoin yarn and work 5ch, * miss 2tr, 1dc into next tr, 3ch, miss 2tr, 1tr into next tr, 3ch, * rpt from * to * around all 4 sides of blanket, ss to 3rd of 3ch. Turn.

Next Row - 3ch, 3tr into base of ch, miss 3ch space, 1dc into tr, continue with 2nd Row from main part of blanket, all around sides to end, working 3tr into each corner, work 2tr into base of ch from beginning of row, ss to 3rd of 3ch. Fasten off.

Finishing - Sew in and tie off all loose ends. Decorate with ribbon and rosebuds if preferred.
