GAUGE - 5sc and 3 rows of pattern measures approx 1 Inch using 5.00mm hook

Headband - With 6.00mm hook ch12, change to 5.00mm hook, (WS) work 1sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1sc in each ch to end. Turn. (11sc)

Pattern Row 1 - ch4, skip 1sc, 1dc in next sc, * ch1, skip 1sc, 1dc in next sc, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn. (5dc, 5, ch1 spaces + ch3)

Pattern Row 2 - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each ch1 space and dc to end, 1sc in 3rd of ch4. Turn. (11sc)

Rpt Pattern Rows 1 & 2 until 55 rows have been worked or work measures 19.5 Inches. Turn.

Rpt Pattern Row 1 once.

Fold headband in half and with WS facing sl st cast on edge and last row worked together to make a circle. Do not fasten off.

Border - With 4.00mm hook, color 1 and working along the side of the headband in row ends, ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * 1sc in side of next sc, 2sc in side of next dc, * rpt from * to * to end, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Turn. (85sc)

Starting with ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, work 1sc in each sc to end, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Fasten off.

Rpt last 2 rows along opposite side of headband.

Flower - Made in rounds without turning using 5.00mm hook

Starting with color 1 yarn make a magic circle, ch1, 12sc in circle, close circle pulling loose thread, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. (12sc)

Next Row - Working in front loop of stitch only ch1, work (1sc, 3dc, 1sc) in base of ch1, * skip 1sc, (1sc, 3dc, 1sc) in next sc, * rpt from * to * to end, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Fasten off. (6 petals)

Change to color 2 and working behind last row in back loops of sc work ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each loose loop to end, sl st to first sc. (12sc)

Next Row - ch1 (1sc, 1dc, 3trc, 1dc, 1sc) in base of ch1, * skip 1sc, (1sc, 1dc, 3trc, 1dc, 1sc) in next sc, * rpt from * to * to last sc, skip last sc, sl st to first sc. Fasten off. (6 petals)

Finishing - Weave in and trim all loose ends of yarn, position and attach flower to headband.
