Base of ch. Work into first stitch

3ch counts as first tr

Finished size approx:-

50” circumference x 2.75” width

Materials

20 grams of Double Knitting Sparkly Yarn in White

25 grams of Double Knitting Sparkly Yarn in Cherry

(I used King Cole Glitz)

5.50mm & 4.00mm Crochet Hook

TENSION - 5tr & 3 rows of tr measures approx 1 Inch

With 5.50mm hook and contrast colour yarn, make 200ch, making sure not to twist ch

length, ss to first ch to make a ring, change to 4.00mm hook, make 3ch, 1tr into next ch,

* miss 1ch, 2tr into next ch, * rpt from * to * to last ch, miss last ch, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn. Fasten off. (100, 2tr groups)

Pattern Row 1 - Join in main colour yarn, make 3ch, miss 1tr, * 2tr into space between

next 2tr, (see pic) miss 2tr * rpt from * to * to end, work 1tr between tr and 3ch, ss to top

of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn.

Pattern Row 2 - 3ch, 1tr into space between 3ch and tr on row below, * miss 2tr, 2tr into space between next 2tr, * rpt from * to * to last tr, miss last tr, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn.

Rpt Pattern Rows 1 & 2 once in main colour. Fasten off. Join in contrast colour yarn and work Pattern Row 1 once you should now have 6 rows worked in all. Turn.

Next Row - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each tr to end, ss to first dc. Fasten off. (200dc)

Rejoin yarn to cast on edge, 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each cast on ch to end,

ss to first dc. Fasten off. (200dc)

Finishing - Sew and tie off loose ends of yarn.
