tr2tog.  Leaving last loop of each tr on hook,
work 2tr into next dc, yrh pull through all loops.

Base of ch. Work into first stitch

3ch counts as first tr

Size to fit approx: 2.5 Inch Diameter  glass/tumbler

Materials
10 grams of Patons 100% cotton 4ply in Colour 1
small amount of Patons 100% cotton 4ply in Colour 2
3.50mm crochet hook

TENSION - 6tr and 3 rows measures approx 1

Worked in rounds without turning for first 5 rows.

Using colour 1 make 5ch, ss to first ch to form a ring, work 3ch, 12tr into ring, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. (12tr + 3ch)

Round 2 - 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, 2tr into each tr to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. (25tr + 3ch)

Round 3 - 3ch, * 2tr into next tr, 1tr into next tr, * rpt from * to * to last tr, 2tr into last tr, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. (38tr + 3ch)

Round 4 - Working into back loop only for this round work 3ch, 1tr into each tr to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round.

Round 5 - Working through both loops from now on make 1ch, work 1dc into each tr to end, ss to first dc on beginning of round. Turn. (38dc)

Round 6 - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end, ss to first dc on beginning of round. Turn.

Rpt last row once. Fasten off. Turn.

Round 8 - Join in colour 2 and make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * tr2tog (see abbrev) into next dc, 1dc into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last dc, tr2tog into dc, ss to first dc on beginning of round. Fasten off. Turn. (19, tr2tog)

Rounds 9 to 11 - Join in colour 1 and make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each st to end, ss to first dc on beginning of round. Turn. (38dc)

Fasten off at the end of Round 11.

Rpt Rounds 8 to 11 twice. Fasten off.

Finishing - Weave in all loose ends of thread and trim.
