Toilet Roll Cover  - (worked in rounds) With 4.00mm hook and main color yarn ch6,

sl st to first ch to form a ring, ch3, work 15dc in ring, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of

row. DNT. (15dc + ch3)


Second Round - (Inc) ch3, 1dc in base of ch3, 2dc in each dc to end, sl st to top of

ch3 on beginning of round. DNT.  (31dc + ch3)


Third Round - (Inc) ch3, 1dc in base of ch3, 1dc in next dc, * 2dc in next dc, 1dc in

next dc, * rpt from * to * to end, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of round. DNT.

(47dc + ch3)


Fourth Round - (Inc) ch3, 1dc in base of ch3, 1dc in each of next 2dc, * 2dc in next dc,

1dc in each of next 2dc, * rpt from * to * to end, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of round. DNT.  (63dc + ch3)


Fifth Round - (Inc) ch3, 1dc in base of ch3, 1dc in each of next 3dc, * 2dc in next dc,

Next Round - (Working in back loop of stitch only from now on) ch1, 1sc in base of ch1,

* skip 2dc, 5dc in next dc, skip 2dc, 1sc in next dc * rpt from * to * to last 6dc, skip 2dc,

work 5dc in next dc, skip 3dc, sl st to first sc on beginning of round. Turn.

(13, 5dc groups)


Pattern Round 1 - ch3, 2dc in base of ch3, * work 1sc in centre dc on 5dc group, 5dc

in next sc * rpt from * to * to last 5dc group, 1sc in centre dc on 5dc group, 2dc in base

of ch3, sl st to top of ch3. Turn


Pattern Round 2 - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * 5dc in next sc, 1sc in centre dc on next

5dc group, * rpt from * to * to last sc, 5dc in last sc, sl st to first sc on beginning of round. Turn.


Pattern Rounds 1 & 2 form the pattern, rpt both rows until 11 rounds have been worked

in all. Fasten off.


With contrast color yarn and 4.00mm hook, return to loose loops made earlier (when you worked in back loop), with open end of cover towards you, rejoin to first loose loop with

a sl st, ch1, 2sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each of next 4sc, * 2sc in next loose loop, 1sc in

each of next 4 loose loops, * rpt from * to * to end, sl st to first sc. Turn. (95sc)


Next Round - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * skip 1sc, 5dc in next sc, skip1sc, 1sc in next sc,

* rpt from * to * to last sc, 5dc in last sc, sl st to first sc on beginning of round. Fasten off. (24, 5dc groups)


Wash Cloth - (Work through back loop of stitch on each row) With 4.00mm hook and

main color yarn ch38, work 1sc in 2nd ch from hook, * skip 2ch's, 5dc in next ch, skip

2ch's, 1sc in next ch, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn. (6, 5dc groups)


Pattern Row 1 - ch3, 2dc in base of ch3, * work 1sc in centre dc on 5dc group, 5dc in

next sc * rpt from * to * to last 5dc group, and sc, 1sc in centre dc on 5dc group, 3dc in

last sc. Turn.


Pattern Row 2 - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * 5dc in next sc, 1sc in centre dc on next 5dc group, * rpt from * to * to last sc, 2dc and ch3, 5dc in centre dc on 5dc group, skip 2dc,

1sc in top of ch3. Turn.


Pattern Rows 1 & 2 form the pattern, rpt both rows until 23 pattern rows have been

worked in all. Turn.


Edging - (Work through both loops of stitch) ch1, 2sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each stitch

to last sc, 3sc in last sc, working down first side of cloth and in row ends, work 35sc

evenly along to corner, 3sc in corner, working along cast on edge of cloth, work 2sc in

each ch2 space, 1sc in the base of each sc and 5dc groups to next corner or until 35sc have worked evenly along, 3sc in corner, working up second side of cloth and in row ends, work 35sc evenly along to corner, 1sc in base of ch1, sl st to first sc. Turn.


Work two more rows of 1sc in each sc, working 3sc in corners, turning at the end of each row and sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Fasten off.


Join in contrast color yarn and work two more rows of sc the same as before. Turn.


Next Round - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * skip 1sc, 5dc in next sc, skip 1sc, 1sc in next

sc, * rpt from * to * around all four sides of cloth to end, sl st to first sc on beginning of

round. Fasten off.


Bowl - Using 4.00mm hook, and main color yarn ch6, sl st to first ch to form a ring, ch3,

work 13dc in ring, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row. DNT.


2nd Round - (Inc) ch3, 1dc in base of ch3, 2dc in each dc to end, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of round. DNT.  (27dc + ch3)


3rd Round - (Inc) ch3, 1dc in base of ch3, * 1dc in next dc, 2dc in next dc, * rpt from

* to * to end, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of round. DNT.  (41dc + ch3)


4th Round - (Inc) ch3, 1dc in base of ch3, * 1dc in each of next 2dc, 2dc in next dc,

* rpt from * to * to end, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of round. DNT.  (55dc + ch3)


5th Round - (Inc) ch3, 1dc in base of ch3, * 1dc in each of next 3dc, 2dc in next dc,

* rpt from * to * to end, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of round. DNT.  (69dc + ch3)


6th Round - (Inc) ch3, 1dc in base of ch3, * 1dc in each of next 4dc, 2dc in next dc,

* rpt from * to * to end, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of round. DNT.  (83dc + ch3)


Next Round - (Working in back loop of stitch only) ch3, 1dc in each dc to end, sl st to

top of ch3 on beginning of round. DNT. (83dc + ch3)


Working through both loops and starting with ch3, work four more rows of 1dc in each

dc to end, slip stitching to top of ch3 on beginning of each round. Turn. Fasten off.


Join contrast color yarn, ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each dc to end, sl st to first sc.

Turn. (84sc)


Next Round - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * skip 1sc, 5dc in next sc, skip1sc, 1sc in next

sc, * rpt from * to * to last 3sc, skip 1sc, 5dc in next sc, skip next sc, sl st to first sc on beginning of round. Fasten off. (21, 5dc groups)


Base of Bowl Edging

With contrast color yarn and 4.00mm hook, return to loose loops made earlier. With

open end of bowl facing away from you, rejoin to first loose loop with a sl st, ch1, 1sc in

base of ch1, 1sc in each loose loop to end, sl st to first sc. Turn. (84sc)


Next Round - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * skip 1sc, 5dc in next sc, skip1sc, 1sc in next sc,

* rpt from * to * to last 3sc, skip 1sc, 5dc in next sc, skip next sc, sl st to first sc on

beginning of round. Fasten off. (21, 5dc groups)


Flower Motif x 3  -  With main color yarn and 4.00mm hook, ch5, sl st to first ch to form a ring, ch1, work 12sc in ring, sl st to first sc on beginning of round. Turn. Fasten off. (12sc)


Join in contrast color, ch1, 2sc in base of ch1, 2sc in each sc to end. Turn. (24sc)


Next Round - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * skip 1sc, 5dc in next sc, skip1sc, 1sc in next sc,

* rpt from * to * to last 3sc, skip 1sc, 5dc in next sc, skip next sc, sl st to first sc on

beginning of round. Fasten off. (6, 5dc groups)


Finishing  -  Sew in and tie off all loose ends, attach flower motif to top of Toilet Roll Cover, a corner on Washcloth and front of Bowl.
