Toilet Roll Cover  - (worked in rounds) With 4.00mm hook and main colour yarn make

6ch, ss to first ch to form a ring, 3ch, work 15tr into ring, ss to top of 3ch on beginning

of row. DNT. (15tr + 3ch)


Second Round - (Inc) 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, 2tr into each tr to end, ss to top of 3ch

on beginning of round. DNT.  (31tr + 3ch)


Third Round - (Inc) 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, 1tr into next tr, * 2tr into next tr, 1tr into next

tr, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. DNT.  (47tr + 3ch)


Fourth Round - (Inc) 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, 1tr into each of next 2tr, * 2tr into next tr,

1tr into each of next 2tr, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round.

DNT.  (63tr + 3ch)


Fifth Round - (Inc) 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, 1tr into each of next 3tr, * 2tr into next tr, 1tr

into each of next 3tr, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. DNT.  (79tr + 3ch)


Next Round - (Working into back loop of stitch only from now on) make 1ch, 1dc into

base of 1ch, * miss 2tr, 5tr into next tr, miss 2tr, 1dc into next tr * rpt from * to * to last 6tr, miss 2tr, work 5tr into next tr, miss 3tr, ss to first dc on beginning of round. Turn. (13, 5tr groups)


Pattern Round 1 - Make 3ch, 2tr into base of 3ch, * work 1dc into centre tr on 5tr group,

5tr into next dc * rpt from * to * to last 5tr group, 1dc into centre tr on 5tr group, 2tr into

base of 3ch, ss to top of 3ch. Turn


Pattern Round 2 - Make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * 5tr into next dc, 1dc into centre tr

on next 5tr group, * rpt from * to * to last dc, 5tr into last dc, ss to first dc on beginning of round. Turn.


Pattern Rounds 1 & 2 form the pattern, rpt both rows until 11 rounds have been worked

in all. Fasten off.


With contrast colour yarn and 4.00mm hook, return to loose loops made earlier (when you worked into back loop), with open end of cover towards you, rejoin to first loose loop with

a ss, make 1ch, 2dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each of next 4dc, * 2dc into next loose loop, 1dc into each of next 4 loose loops, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to first dc. Turn. (95dc)


Next Round - Make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * miss 1dc, 5tr into next dc, miss1dc, 1dc into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last dc, 5tr into last dc, ss to first dc on beginning of round. Fasten off. (24, 5tr groups)


Wash Cloth - (Work through back loop of stitch on each row) With 4.00mm hook and main colour yarn make 38ch, work 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, * miss 2ch, 5tr into next ch, miss 2ch, 1dc into next ch, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn. (6, 5tr groups)


Pattern Row 1 - Make 3ch, 2tr into base of 3ch, * work 1dc into centre tr on 5tr group, 5tr into next dc * rpt from * to * to last 5tr group, and dc, 1dc into centre tr on 5tr group, 3tr into last dc. Turn.


Pattern Row 2 - Make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * 5tr into next dc, 1dc into centre tr on

next 5tr group, * rpt from * to * to last dc, 2tr and 3ch, 5tr into centre tr on 5tr group, miss

2tr, 1dc into top of 3ch. Turn.


Pattern Rows 1 & 2 form the pattern, rpt both rows until 23 pattern rows have been

worked in all. Turn.


Edging - (Work through both loops of stitch) 1ch, 2dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each

stitch to last dc, 3dc into last dc, working down first side of cloth and into row ends, work 35dc evenly along to corner, 3dc into corner, working along cast on edge of cloth, work

2dc into each 2ch space, 1dc into the base of each dc and 5tr groups to next corner or

until 35dc have worked evenly along, 3dc into corner, working up second side of cloth and into row ends, work 35dc evenly along to corner, 1dc into base of 1ch, ss to first dc. Turn.


Work two more rows of 1dc into each dc, working 3dc into corners, turning at the end of each row and ss to first dc on beginning of row. Fasten off.


Join in contrast colour yarn and work two more rows of dc the same as before. Turn.


Next Round - Make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * miss 1dc, 5tr into next dc, miss 1dc,

1dc into next dc, * rpt from * to * around all four sides of cloth to end, ss to first dc on beginning of round. Fasten off.


Bowl - Using 4.00mm hook, and main colour yarn make 6ch, ss to first ch to form a ring,

3ch, work 13tr into ring, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. DNT.


2nd Round - (Inc) 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, 2tr into each tr to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. DNT.  (27tr + 3ch)


3rd Round - (Inc) 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, * 1tr into next tr, 2tr into next tr, * rpt from

* to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. DNT.  (41tr + 3ch)


4th Round - (Inc) 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, * 1tr into each of next 2tr, 2tr into next tr,

* rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. DNT.  (55tr + 3ch)


5th Round - (Inc) 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, * 1tr into each of next 3tr, 2tr into next tr,

* rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. DNT.  (69tr + 3ch)


6th Round - (Inc) 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, * 1tr into each of next 4tr, 2tr into next tr,

* rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. DNT.  (83tr + 3ch)


Next Round - (Working into back loop of stitch only) make 3ch, 1tr into each tr to end,

ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. DNT. (83tr + 3ch)


Working through both loops and starting with 3ch, work four more rows of 1tr into each

tr to end, slip stitching to top of 3ch on beginning of each round. Turn. Fasten off.


Join contrast colour yarn, 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each tr to end, ss to first dc. Turn. (84dc)


Next Round - Make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * miss 1dc, 5tr into next dc, miss1dc, 1dc into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last 3dc, miss 1dc, 5tr into next dc, miss next dc, ss to first

dc on beginning of round. Fasten off. (21, 5tr groups)


Base of Bowl Edging

With contrast colour yarn and 4.00mm hook, return to loose loops made earlier. With

open end of bowl facing away from you, rejoin to first loose loop with a ss, make 1ch,

1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each loose loop to end, ss to first dc. Turn. (84dc)


Next Round - Make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * miss 1dc, 5tr into next dc, miss1dc, 1dc into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last 3dc, miss 1dc, 5tr into next dc, miss next dc, ss to first

dc on beginning of round. Fasten off. (21, 5tr groups)


Flower Motif x 3  -  With main colour yarn and 4.00mm hook, make 5ch, ss to first ch to form a ring, 1ch, work 12dc into ring, ss to first dc on beginning of round. Turn. Fasten off. (12dc)


Join in contrast colour, 1ch, 2dc into base of 1ch, 2dc into each dc to end. Turn. (24dc)


Next Round - Make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * miss 1dc, 5tr into next dc, miss1dc,

1dc into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last 3dc, miss 1dc, 5tr into next dc, miss next dc, ss

to first dc on beginning of round. Fasten off. (6, 5tr groups)


Finishing  -  Sew in and tie off all loose ends, attach flower motif to top of Toilet Roll Cover, a corner on Washcloth and front of Bowl.
