100 grams of King Cole big value baby DK in Main Colour

Small amount of Contrast Colour

3.5oz of Worsted Weight Yarn in Main Color

Small amount of Worsted weight in Contrast Color

4.00mm & 4.50mm crochet hooks

GAUGE - 6dc and 3 rows of dc’s measures approx 1” square

Pull on Hat - (Made in rounds) With 4.00mm hook and main color yarn, ch6, join to first

ch with a sl st to form a ring, ch3, work 12dc in ring, join with sl st to top of ch3. Turn.

(12dc + ch3)

Row 2 - ch3, 1dc in base of ch3, 2dc in each of next 12dc, sl st to top of ch3. (25dc + ch3) Turn.

Row 3 - ch3, 1dc in base of ch3, 1dc in next dc, * 2dc in next dc, 1dc in next dc, * rpt

from * to * to end, sl st to top of ch3. (38dc + ch3). Turn. Fasten off.

Row 4 - Join in contrast color yarn, ch1, 2sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each of next 2dc, * 2sc

in next dc, 1sc in each of next 2dc, * rpt from * to * to end, sl st to first sc. (52sc). Turn.

Fasten off.

Next Row - Join in main color yarn, work ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each sc to end,

sl st to first sc. Turn. Rpt last row once.

Next Row - ch3, skip 2dc, * (3dc, ch1, 1dc) in next dc, skip 2dc, * rpt from * to * to last dc, (3dc, ch1) in last dc, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row. Turn. (17 Groups)

Pattern Row - ch1, sl st to ch1 space on first group, (ch3, 2dc, ch1, 1dc) in same space,

* (3dc, ch1, 1dc) in ch1 space on next group * rpt from * to * to end, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row. Turn.

Rpt Pattern Row five more times, making 7 Pattern Rows in all. Fasten off. Turn.

Next Row - Re-join contrast color yarn to ch1 space, ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, (ch2, 1sc)

in same space, 1sc in next 4dc, * (1sc, ch2, 1sc) in next ch1 space, 1sc in next 4dc, rpt

from * to * to end, sl st to first sc. Fasten off.

Boots - With 4.00mm hook and main color, ch11, (RS) 3hdc in 4th ch from hook, 1hdc

in each of next 6ch, 8hdc in last ch, working on opposite side of cast on ch, work 1hdc in each of next 6ch, 4hdc in last ch, sl st to top of the ch3 on beginning of row. DNT.

(27hdc + ch2)

Next Round - ch2, work 2hdc in each of next 3hdc, 1hdc in each of next 8hdc, 2hdc in

each of next 6hdc, 1hdc in each of next 8hdc, 2hdc in each of last 2hdc, 1hdc in base of ch2, sl st to top of ch2. DNT. (39hdc + ch2).

Next Round - ch2, skip first hdc, 1hdc in each hdc to end, 1hdc in base of ch2, sl st to

top of ch2. DNT. (39hdc + ch2.

Next Round - Working in back loop of stitch only, ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each

hdc to end, sl st to first sc. Turn (40sc)

Next Round - Working through both loops ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each sc to end,

sl st to first sc. Turn (40sc). Rpt last row once. Fasten off.

Instep - With WS facing and counting from were you fastened off, skip 10sc, rejoin yarn to next sc, ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in next 19sc. Turn. (20sc)

Next Row - (Dec) ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, dec 1sc over next 2sc, (see abbrev above)

9 times, 1sc in last sc. Turn. (11sc)

Next Row - (Dec) ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, (dec 1sc over next 2sc) 5 times. Turn. (6sc)

Next Row - Insert hook and pull up loop in each sc, yo, pull through 7 loops on hook to close, ch1. Turn. Fasten off.

Top – With 4.00mm hook, main color and WS facing rejoin yarn to back seam, ch1, 1sc

in base of ch1, work 1sc in each of next 9sc, 8sc evenly across top of instep, work 1sc in each of next 10sc, sl st to first sc. Turn. (28sc)

Next Row - ch3, skip 1sc, * (3dc, ch1, 1dc) in next sc, skip 3sc, * rpt from * to * to last

2sc, 1dc in next sc, (2dc, ch1) in last sc, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row. Turn.

(7 Groups)

Next Row - ch1, sl st in first ch1 space, (ch3, 2dc, ch1, 1dc) in same space, * (3dc, ch1, 1dc) in ch1 space on next group * rpt from * to * to end, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning

of row. Turn. Rpt last row once. Turn. Fasten off.

Next Row - Join contrast color yarn to first dc, ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * (1sc, ch2, 1sc)

in next ch1 space, 1sc in next 4dc, * rpt from * to * to working 1sc in each of last 3dc,

sl st to first sc. Fasten off.

With 4.50mm hook work one row of sc in contrast color yarn in loose loops on sole of boot. Fasten off.

Chain Tie - With 4.00mm hook and contrast color yarn ch80. Fasten off.

Finishing - Sew in and tie off any loose ends of yarn, thread chain tie though gaps in stitches on ankle and tie in a bow.
