Made without turning throughout -
With color 1 and 4.50mm hook ch5, sl st to first ch to form a ring, work 3ch, 15dc in ring,
sl st to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Fasten off. (15dc + 3ch)

2nd Round - Join in color 2 with a sl st to top of 3ch, ch3, 1cl (see abbrev) in base of 3ch,
* ch1, 1cl in next dc, * rpt from * to * to end, ch1, sl st to top of 3ch on beginning of round. Fasten off. (16cl + 3ch)

3rd Row - Join in color 1 with a sl st to a ch1 space, work (3ch, 1exdc, 2ch, 2exdc) in
same space, (makes corner), * work 2dc in each of next three ch1 spaces, (2exdc, 2ch, 2exdc) in next ch1 space, * rpt from * to * last three ch1 spaces, work 2dc in each of next three ch1 spaces, sl st to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Fasten off. (see abbrev for exdc)

4th Row - Join in color 2 with a sl st to top of 3ch, ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each dc
all around square, working 2sc, ch1, 2sc in each corner, sl st to first sc on beginning of row.

5th Row - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * 2ch, 1sc in back loop of next sc, 2ch, 1sc in front loop of next sc, * rpt from * to * to end working 1sc, 2ch  twice in each corner, sl st to first sc. Fasten off.

Finishing - Sew in and tie off loose ends of yarn.
