Row 2 - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each sc to end. Turn.

Rpt last row five more times, making 7 rows in all. Turn.

Row 8 - ch3, 2dc in base of ch3, skip 3sc, * work 5dc in next sc, skip 3sc, * rpt from
* to * to last sc, work 3dc in last sc. Turn. (57, 5dc Groups)

Row 9 - ch3, 2dc in base of ch3, skip 2dc, 1sc in space between 3dc and next 5dc
group, * skip 2dc, 5dc in next dc, skip 2dc, 1sc between next two 5dc groups, * rpt from
* to * to end, 3dc into top of ch3. Turn.

Row 10 - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * ch4, 1sc in centre dc of next 5dc group, * rpt from

Edging - ch1, 2sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each sc to last sc, 3sc in last sc, work 17sc
evenly in row ends down first side of scarf, 3sc in corner, 1sc in each ch along cast on
edge to corner, 3sc in corner, 17sc evenly in row ends along second side of scarf, 1sc in base of ch1 on corner, sl st to first sc. Fasten off.

Finishing - Sew in and tie off loose ends of yarn.
