100 grams of Double Knitting Yarn in Main Colour
5.50mm & 4.50mm crochet hooks
TENSION - 4dc and 5 rows of dc measures approx 1 Inch Square

With 5.50mm hook make 234ch, change to 4.50mm hook, work 1dc into 2nd ch
from hook, 1dc into each ch to end. Turn. (233dc)
Row 2 - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end. Turn.
Rpt last row five more times, making 7 rows in all. Turn.
Row 8 - 3ch, 2tr into base of 3ch, miss 3dc, * work 5tr into next dc, miss 3dc, *
rpt
from * to * to last dc, work 3tr into last dc. Turn. (57, 5tr Groups)
Row 9 - 3ch, 2tr into base of 3ch, miss 2tr, 1dc into space between 3tr and next
5tr
group, * miss 2tr, 5tr into next tr, miss 2tr, 1dc between next two 5tr groups, *
rpt from
* to * to end, 3tr into top of 3ch. Turn.
Row 10 - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, make * 4ch, 1dc into centre tr of next 5tr group,
* rpt from * to * to last 2tr and 3ch to turn with, work 4ch, 1dc into top of 3ch.
Turn.
(58, 4ch spaces)
Row 11 - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * 3dc into next 4ch space, work 1dc into next
dc,
*rpt from * to * to end. Turn. (233dc)
Row 12-17 - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end. Turn.
Edging - 1ch, 2dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to last dc, 3dc into last dc,
work
17dc evenly into row ends down first side of scarf, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each
ch
along cast on edge to corner, 3dc into corner, 17dc evenly into row ends along second
side of scarf, 1dc into base of 1ch on corner, ss to first dc. Fasten off.
Finishing - Sew in and tie off loose ends of yarn.
